The day marked the 30th  anniversary of the annual Surajkund International Crafts Fair in Haryana. This  fair, which first began in 1981, aims to display folk art and traditional crafts from all parts of India. It is an important gathering for India’s handicrafts industry, for both ordinary people as well as performing artists alike.
