Xinhua News Agency, April 24 (Reporter She Yonggang, Lu Tang). The Chairman of Indian space Research Organization (ISRO), AS Kiran Kumar, announced on April 23 that in the next month India will flight test its Reusable Launch Vehicle-Technology Demonstration Program (RLV-TD).

The RLV-TD, which looks like a “winged rocket”, is a reusable space flight delivery tool. It has the ability to launch vertically like a rocket and land horizontally like an airplane.

Kumar also said RLV-TD has already passed a number of tests, including the recently completed acoustics test held at India’s National Aviation Laboratory.
