Xinhua News Agency, Islamabad, December 25 The six-nation Parliamentary Speaker’s meeting was held in Islamabad, Pakistan from December 24 to 25, The Islamabad Declaration was issued after the two themes of anti-terrorism and interoperability were discussed. Zhang Ping, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, led the Chinese delegation to the meeting. At the conference, Zhang Ping said terrorism is a common security threat facing the countries in the region and the international community. Poor connectivity and communication are important factors restricting the development of all countries. China is willing to join hands with all other countries to step up anti-terrorism cooperation so as to maintain regional peace and tranquility. We will accelerate the building of the “Belt and Road” to achieve mutual benefits, win-win cooperation and common development of the community of shared destiny.
