After the fun event, I arrived at the unique reunion dinner of the “Gwadar people”. In Gwadar Port, every reunion dinner starts at 4:30 in the morning. Zhang Baozhong explained, “This is because we seek to have the meal with the family, far away in China, so that it feels as a kind of reunion.”

“The most important part is to give a video call to the family to report our safety. Now, the water, electricity, network and other supporting facilities in Gwadar are gradually improving, and the family is able to be in close contact. Else it feels so far away”, Hu Yaozong, Deputy General Manager of Gwadar Free Zone Co., Ltd. said.
