MUMBAI, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) — Indian market opened higher Thursday ahead of September Futures and Options (F&O) expiry, supported mainly by strong global cues.

OPEC’s decision to limit production also boosted investors appetite for taking risk.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 28,436.86, 144.05 points or 0.5 percent up compared to the previous close at 28,292.81.
