According to reports, India’s Chief of Defense Staff Rawat has confirmed the news.“India Today” previously stated that the Delhi High Court recently received a petition seeking that Delhi’s oxygen management authority be transferred to the military to ensure uninterrupted supply of oxygen to hospitals and facilities that treat patients with COVID-19. “The issue of oxygen supply and distribution needs to be handed over to the Army. No other agency can handle it,” a defense lawyer told the Delhi High Court.According to reports, the Delhi High Court is hearing the issue of oxygen supply in Delhi hospitals.

The epidemic situation in India remains severe. The latest data released by the Ministry of Health of India on May 3 shows that in the past 24 hours, India has added 368,147 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, and the total number of confirmed cases has reached 19,925,604. There were 3417 new deaths, with a total of 218,959 deaths.
