The Times of India reported on July 23rd that U.S. Secretary of State, John Blinken, will depart on July 26th for a visit to India and Kuwait. This will be Blinken’s first visit to India since he assumed office. The United States regards India as an important partner against China. On the 28th, Blinken will meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister Jaishankar to discuss issues such as “Indo-Pacific contacts”.
